My son is beating me!

My 22 year old son is beating me at pistol shooting. He uses a Super Redhawk 44 and I use the 454 with 45 LC loads. What is a good target load for the 454 Redhawk? Oh by the way toss in any good hunting loads you have as well. I am using a 300 SWC with 20 gr. of 2400 in 45 LC cases it is really accurate but for long target shooting days it gets a little tiring. Thanks for the help.
 
Back off some; try using Hodgdon Universal Clays and lead bullets (or back off even more and try W231).

Use non-magnum primers for these loads, and finish them off using the superb Redding Profile Crimp die.

I bought my Son his first shotgun when he was 11 years old, by the time he was 13 he was shooting better skeet than I was.......made me proud as a peacock. And there was no sting. :D

Not a firearm shooting best, but the son of my gunsmith is 11, shoots a longbow and was shooting thrown clay pigeons this last weekend. He hit and broke 6 out of 10. Then he hit a thrown tennis ball. I wonder what he could do if he would just practice. :)
