nice, I just got "ugly betty" from the Fed Ex guy 20 min ago.
Lots of rust and other issues.:(
If nothing else, she will be a parts gun.
The CVA .36 cal brasser is on the way and she looked a lot nicer
in the pics but we shall see.

BTW- I got yer invite to the rodeo and range but I'm at the tail end
of a 14 day stretch of 11-12hr shifts...
I'm getting kind of forgetful about what day it is not to mention replying.

Very nice, brazosdave.
But do you have a prejudice against Remingtons?

Bushmaster65, you need more spinach in your diet.
When I had my auto service place, 12 hour work days were the norm, and not just for a week or two, either.
Kids, today!
No stamina.

Nah, I do like the look of the Colts better. Remingtons also seem to be more pricey, and I also love the replica confederate guns, which are usually based on Colts, so there ya go. I did pick up a CVA Tower gun today, so that adds something new to the mix. And the little Cobra derringer is based of of the old Remington model 3 over and under, so I guess that's my nod to the Remington company, lol!

Ok, you win, my next one is going to be one of those sleek 1860s.
What, no retort from bushmaster?
He must be taking a nap.

Anyone with old parents and relatives works with sick elderly folks, and it does, indeed, take a lot out of you.
Very glad he's there to help.
Hope he hasn't caught anything.

I'm here GW, Just finished a 14 day run of 11 hour shifts tonight and I'm fix-in to fix me my southern and seven and go strip ugly betty's grips! That sounds a little sick huh?:D
The one thing though, B. Dave was close. I work with foster kids in a private home as an LVN. But I don't like spinach...:p
You know though, come to think of it, I haven't worked an 8 hr shift since before I joined the army in 91'. I wouldn't know what to do with all that free time and less money for my wife to **** away:)

Kids will wear you out even more than the elderly.
At least the old folks sleep a lot.
"Hard work never killed anyone." or so the saying goes.
He sez, from the comfort of his recliner.
Retirement is much more better, though, and I highly recommend it.

I'm kinda in that retired state of mind, lol. Retired from the Army, going to school on the G.I. Bill, taking such lofty classes as Agricultural Power units (tractor driving), and Equine behavior and training. Did school for food service management, but realized I'd hate to do that almost as much as I got tired of being a mechanic in the Army, lol! Still, I never have classes on Fridays, so I can always go shooting then.

well, you two have me beat on the retirement situation. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'm gonna work until I die or end up in a wheel chair drooling on myself:o

Held off a bit in replying but....

Nice collection, Brazos.

I can't call mine a collection, but more of an accumulation.
