Looks good. I almost went with a similar stock for my Yugo SKS. I just ordered a bull pup stock from sgworks.com. Still waiting to get the stock but am excited about it. You should check them out.

I would absolutely love to go to the range with that SKS. I bet it is amazingly accurate. Even though you said you haven't had any range time with it. I bet you can get a .5 - 1.5 Inch grouping from 200 yards away.

Mount that thing on the front handguard rails. It will 100% more stable.

Been there and done that with the dust cover scope mount. I hope you saved the factory dust cover. May I suggest a simple Tech Sight. Here is their website http://www.tech-sights.com/
