My sister has an interview next week with ....

ArmySon

Staff Alumnus
the CIA!!!!

She's one of their final choices. If she gets the job, depending on what they offer her, I might have to apply too! Little sis can't have more fun then me :D

I've heard they have had a lot of booths at job fairs. Starts at about 50k a year, I guess.

I suppose it couldn't hurt to have a few Constitution-loving patriots hiding in their ranks ;)

My Colt .45... Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

i doubt an junior analyst has much "fun" in the vast PC cube land at Langley.

They supposedly do draw field ops from the cube pool though, for some work.

They teach you how to lie convincingly to people that you know, in case you meet them in the field.

Any TFLer would stop posting here, if they started working there.

My dream job has always been to be the CIA equivalent of "Q" from the 007 movies.

"Now, pay attention 007..."

Cool, ArmySon. When my wife got her PhD, they sent some recruitment info to her. Too bad she is not the type.

Be careful what you wish for, Son, They's a strange bunch, by and large. Although there is some interesting work available there, they have God's own budget and get early access to some wonderful tekno-toys, the majority of positions require a high degree of mopery and tight-assed conformity, generally not worth the indignity of the gov't proctoscopy. Internal politics are vicious . . . M2

Well,I wish your sister good luck. I know that it is hard to get into goverment but once you are there. I am sure it is worth it.
;) ;)

Good luck to your sister, Son!
If you get in too, don't be snapping any pix at the next EOSM....you might make some people a little nervous!!! Uh...we'll send you copies, OK? ;)
