My shotgun is reborn

I just started duck hunting and was envious of my camo packing counter parts so I set off on a journey to create my personalized bird gun. Starting my taking apart my pump 12 gauge maverick 88.

Nice work. I did my Beretta exactly the same way 3 years ago, and I can tell you the paint has been extremely durable and maintenance free.

I wanted to lighten it a bit to better suit the colors in our local marshes, so I used the lighter color last.

I did hand paint some green. I wrapped different diameters of rope around the parts, then sprayed the light over the ropes.

I'm going to try that

This time I'm going to do it on my bb gun to see which I'll like best for my hunting rifle. A few of the guys at work already want me to hook up theirs.

There was someone on either here or the "other" forum that used maple leaves and similar from his yard as his stencils - they came out awesome looking - a lot like, if not better than, a B&C stock I have on a rifle with a similar pattern

Good jobs to both - nice looking work!

Thanks for the positive feed back

The examples were a great touch as well, I plan on selling paint jobs at the blue berry festival in burgaw nc next year along with my paracord assesories and slings.
