My own opinion is forming...
Okay - First of all - Personal attacks are not allowed here. Period. IF they happen the person making the attack is asked to change his post to with draw the attack ot the post is deleted and the offender is banned. So these kids flame at there own risk.
Second - Gale passed away - but we have a lot of other people here at that level... People from Every Level in and out of the industry, in politics, Law Enforcement, Military, and all areas... Good Solid people.

Yeah... What George said. I can think of a bunch of people that are well known within the industry that post here.

I've been with the Firing Line for a about 8 months now. The only complaint I have is the way people don't read what your questions are when your trying to gain knowledge in a certain area. There is only one person out of the hundreds of people that have responded to various posts I've place that gets on my nerves. One Topic you can't ever bring up is Mini 14's without getting so many unwanted responses. I love the Firing line and I can say that I have been Pursuaded by some very Intelligent people on gun purchases and decision making. This site Is Excellent and the Moderators are very Interesting Commentators.
 
As long as I've been a member here, I find this forum much more mature than the other firearm related forums. I've learned a lot and also helped some. Great job Firing Line staff for keeping this place clean and sane.

I do have one complaint. There seems to be a time warp operating within this board. I stop by for a quick read, and suddenly it's 2 hours later, and I can't figure out where the time went.

Dunno - I haven't been flamed - but then my opinions/postings are pretty innocuous.

Seemed to be a pretty fair review to me. (Other than I haven't been flamed.)

Said there were knowledgeable folks here, willing to share experience and knowledge. I think so.

Easy to use. I think so.

Helpful. I think so.

As the lady said; "Where's the beef?"
