The Ruger LCR and its off spins are some of the finest small revolvers made with their extraordinary trigger pull and design.
But some cannot get past the butt ugliness of the original LCR.
It sorta looks like a pugdog, and I have to admit, I could not own one because of its looks.
But when I wanted something light to carry in my pocket, this became my personal choice. What, something that is 13 oz, can shoot .38 +P all day and is rock solid reliable with a great trigger pull?
And when I found that they even made one with an exposed hammer that actually somewhat resembles a normal Smith model 36 snubbie, I had to go for it.
But it still looked kinda ugly with those hogue grips, so I made some custom walnut grips for my little Ruger and now I'm totally happy.
A Roy Baker copy carved leather holster, 8 round speed strip, and LCRX with walnut grips. Now that's looking kinda purdier now!
