I was at the local Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday, doing a little pre-Christmas shopping for myself (thanks bride!). They had some H&Ks, and I'd never really held one. They had an H&K P30... and as soon as it was in my hands, it was like it was made for me. My goodness, it was like they used MY hands as the mold for the grip. Unfortunately... it is WAY out of my budget. I could buy an Arsenal AK or ALMOST buy an FAL for as much as this 15 round 9mm handgun; I already have a 16 round 9mm FNP, and while it doesn't fit my hands quite as well, I shoot it pretty well. (I do not have large hands)

:(Sigh:(
Decisions, decisions...

Sounds like you need to try and shoot one.

If you shoot it as well as it fits your hand, given what your firearm may be required to do for you, it sounds like it may be worth the sale and saving associated with buying one!!

All this from a guy who's only owned a handgun for 6 weeks!!

You can decide if this is sound advice or not!!

I suggest you do not shoot the P30. If you do, you'll really want one!;) It is a very nice pistol. You're right, the grip is sensational. I'm convinced it came from some alien technology, learned at Area 51. It's too good to be human. :D

I love the P30 and have shot one a few times. Like you, the big seller for me was the grip. Likewise, the price has also been a big turn off for me. It seems like the PPQ has a similar grip and is significantly less expensive but hard to find.
