After several hundred various loads, the big gun likes .54cal sabots stuffed with .44Mag pistol bullets on top of 35gr fffg

Made it in 1989 from a kit

Way cool. You checkered it. One step beyond my skill level. I have a ready-roll from a couple of years ago and am tempted to finish out a barrel and brown it just for the opportunity to draw file off all that reading material they put on there. I've never shot s'boots but mine will group with Lee REAL and the Hornady 385 grain bullets as well as it does with ball.
