Check out my new baby:
Built by Marty Cuttrell of Ballistic Specialties/Angleport (check them out here:
http://www.angleport.com/pistols/pistolmain.asp?C=20623
to my specification:

McCormick Frame
Caspian Slide
Wilson barrel with full guide rod
MMC sights
2.5 lb trigger
Custom Burl Maple grips by Scott Kolar

Haven't shot her yet (this weekend hopefully), but the test target at 25 yards shows 1 ragged .7 inch hole...

Thanks Marty !!!

One of the nicest I've ever seen. I don't know about the big lettering on the slide, but otherwise it's a 10. Is the frame stainless or chromed?

Thanks :-)

Thanks for all the kind words.
I'm VERY happy with the piece.
Marty has been a total gentleman to deal with and I have his personal guarantee that the gun will perform outstandingly or he will fix it. If the gun fails to feed a certain type of ammo, I can ship it back and he will make it eat whatever ammo I want it to (no banned list, style Wilson CQB here!).

If the finish should EVER wear or chip or flake, he will refinish it. How can you beat service like that? On top of that, he built this piece from scratch in about 2 weeks...

Scott Kolar also did a wonderful job. He can be contacted at:
http://home.att.net/~s.kolar/SKPhotogal.htm

He makes mainly Ruger Bisley-type grips, but as you can see, his 1911 style grips are just as exquisite...

That's one very handsome pistol!
My P10-45 is a Duotone model and I've always thought it to be a great color combination.
As one who's smoked a pipe for many years, I can really appreciate those grips!

Mr. Vanosta, if you don't mind my asking, how did you manage to get ahold of the frame ? I've been wanting to buy a Rock River slide/frame combo but also live in CA.
