The paper work finally got done for me to pick up my new Norinco Compact .45. Whahoo!!
Drove up to pick it up, the beauty was all ready for me. Checked out the paper work, wait a minute, the serial numbers don't match. Whats going on???
Oops, seems somebody goofed. The registration and transport permits were for a 9mm, 5" full size Norinco. Oh man.
Seems it was right above my .45 in the book. So I take a look at the 9mm. Hmm, this one has a better trigger, a oversize exteneded slide release, beavertail safety with commander style hammer, and Hogue style molded rubber grips, four mags a good quality case, for $50 less money. What to do???
Well I ended up taking home the 9mm, with 2 boxes of Winchester 147gr SXT bullets to make up the difference in price and the dealer threw in two extra boxes of the SXT bullets for all the BS. Not what I expected to take home, but I'm pretty happy with it.
