My new Kel Tec P-11

Just fired my new Kel Tec P-11. :)
I have the finger extension, Hogue Jr. grip and second magazine. I fired 220 rounds of CCI Blazer and Winchester Silver tips (ouch!); had 5 failures to extract (I think I may had had a weak grip). Overall I like this weapon, but I will need to familiarize myself further with the slight increase in perceived recoil when compared to my SW99 9mm.
I find the P-11 a good buy for $238.00. I wanted a Glock 19, but could not afford one at this time, maybe next year!

visit the kel-tec owners group website and check out the things you can do to your P-11 under the "tek werks" link. www.ktog.org
you will want to do a "fluff & buff". i am not mechanically oriented & was very hesitant to try some of the things but i have managed to do several of the modifications and improvements.
i like mine a lot. sent it to a gunsmith that is a moderator of the ktog discussion forum & he did a beautiful nickel plating job.

I own a Glock 19 and a Kel-Tek P11, and I like the P11 better.

The P11 is the most firepower you can get for that size and wieght. It is state of the art.

Carry a P11 in the main pocket of the smart carry, and a P32 in the little spare magazine pocket. With a pistol in each hand you go into a battle more prepared.

KelTec has been good to me. Mine is currently on vacation in Florida for an ejector breakage. Service is great. I had my P-11 slide nickel plated by Jack Fuselier.

I liked mine so well I bought the P-32. Great guns.
