My (new) HK USP V1 9mm full size

I traded my Carvin DC127 guitar for it and I also got three holsters with it. Shot it at the range yesterday and it was sweet.

Pretty darn accurate. It's a 2003 model and looks new. He told me he shot a couple of boxes and then carried on his security job. He also said he put it in his safe when he got his 686.

I looked at the barrel and the barrel hood. Also the crown and the bore. All looked excellent.

HK's are pricey compared to other polymer pistols and are solid. Having the holsters included is a nice touch because HK is not very common compared to other brands.

True that and what I read about HK is interesting. Made in Germany by well paid professionals and tight tolerances. Better materials etc etc.

It's a well made pistol and it has a recoil dampening spring that makes it really nice. Never bit my hand and originally built for the 40sw that it's overbuilt for the 9mm.

To me it's a good trade and the guy's enjoying the hell out of the Carvin. I'm enjoying the hell out of the pistol. :)

One of the softest shooting pistols I've ever come across. I love the feel and position of the controls. I've owned three different USP models and they've all been superlative. It's just a well made, well thought out pistol. You'll love it.

Congrats man. The USP is one of my favorite guns. The USP 45 is my favorite 45 of all time.

Do yourself a favor and invest in the Match trigger kit.

Big HK fan here, I had a full-size USP 40, I have a P30 9mm and an HK45, which are 2 of the best I have. These are all reliable and accurate with any ammo that you load it with.

Few guns shoot better for me naturally than USPs. Great choice, Oysterboy. I have an Elite 9mm whose included test target is a little under an inch at 25m.

Congrats. Even the USP 45 is a complete pussycat to shoot. The gentle recoil is my favorite feature along with excellent accuracy.
