The find of the show it is!

Theres a good sized gap where the crane meets the frame and a nasty burr on the forcing cone, but I practically stole it from the seller.

It's official friends, I have gone over to the darkside now. I own more revolvers than I do brass tossers.

To top it off there is a 45 Mountain Gun and a K38 calling to me from the very same show.

Do I stay away tomorrow or do I go back?! It's a dilemma

625-2

I have the model of 1988 also and it is a joy to shoot, easy to load and accurate as can be. I have a batch of moon clips ready to go and the tool helps - but I don't know if I'm using it right. My find was on layaway for a year and they even gave me credit for his downpayment.
You got a good-un.:)

You better go back Phil, that Mountain gun was nice! :D

I was looking for a model 60, 3" barrel, adjustable sights, but couldn't find a single one. :(

Two questions for you on the we(s)t side of the state:

Which shows over there are the better ones to attend? I see that Washington Arms Collectors have one about once/month. Are there any other shows, or are these the best ones?

Which shops do you find have the best selection/price on used S&W revolvers and/or 1911's?

The last show here only had one model 27, and local dealers don't have much in used revolvers.

Thanks.

Was that the K-38......

That was over by the snack bar? He tried to sell it to me for $250. I was sorely tempted, but walked away....I am only kicking myself a LITTLE bit......

Mossyrock,
Regarding the K-38, was that the one with the aftermarket grips? FWIW, I examined it and was able to push the cocked hammer down with my thumb. Nice looking gun, but might require a little work.
