My new Glock

Well folks I did it :D After sitting on the fence pondering and procrastinating and reading what is said here about Glocks. I went to my local Gun Emporium and did the dirty deed. I bought that Glock 27. I looked at three other pieces to make sure of my decision. Now I'm anxious to get it to the range :D

Congrats on the new Glock. Now you should get a barrel in .357sig and have two in one. But the .40 is fine by itself.

Sean, Probably will, but I want to work with the .40 for a bit and get use to the gun itself. I've never owned or fired one of these. Plan on going to the range first thing in the morning :D The md#33 was my second choice. Got a good deal on this one which was LNIB with some extra goodies :)

Congrats, totally get the .357 conversion barrel, then you have a wonderful pocket rocket. 5,4,3,2,1 BOOM! BOOM!

The G33 rocks.

Headed to the range to try this thing out :)

While I'm not a Glock Freak or Fan personally, I've had the G26 for 3 years and used it for CC overseas. It is accurate and fits my need. Also, I found it as accurate or moreso for me than my previous G19. Same gun as the G27 but 9mm. It is probably my favorite Glock. Enjoy the .40 and let me know how the recoil is.

.357 conversion barrel?

As in .....the 357 mag? Would that allow me to shot the same shells as my S&W 686?

Or is it more like the 357sig?

Just got back from the range with the new toy, I'm impressed :D Recoil not that bad. Took me awhile to get it sighted in though.
Got it to a 1" pattern off the bullseye at 25yds.Still needs some work I ran out of ammo :( Didn't plan to spend that much time there but I enjoyed it :) I think this one is a keeper :D

Are you serious?

Okay, I'm a lousy shot - I'm lucky staying on paper at 25 yards with a compact firing semi-rapidly - 1 inch at 25 yards with a loose plastic compact 40? The skill alone is incredible - but how can the gun itself that accurate?

Battler.

Battler I used to get 1 to 1 1/2 Inch groups with my G26. THis was benchrest though so I can't say how I would have done freehanded.

I thought you would be impressed. ;) By the way my G26 is even more accurate than my G27!

No story line fellas,Thats what I was able to make that gun do. At times I have very steady hands when I want perfection and I'm left alone to concentrate. I'm not always that good,Today was just my day and I wanted to make that gun work. I did something like that a number of years ago with my newly purchased 629 out of the box. It impressed the hell out of an old timer who was shooting a couple of lanes down. That time it was 50 yds,I was younger and my eyesight was better :) The Glock still needs some work but I'm still impressed :D
