My new Evil Black Rifle

Say hello to my new Evil Black Rifle!

She is a 22lr M4 style with a 4 position stock.

She has a ST-22 Spikes 22lr upper, a surplus lower, and a spikes LPK.

I still haven't named her yet though.
What do you guys think?:D

Cool stuff. The other day i saw an air-gun upper. I guess it was a .177 BB airgun-gun, that used the lower's trigger to actuate...

I like yours better.

How much did you pay in total? was it a better deal than an all in one like a SW MP-22?
 
I paid 550 all said and done. Mostly because I went on gunbroker. But now i have a great rifle and normal lower where i can move from one caliber to another.

Best buy in my opinion.

I haven't decided whether or not I'm putting a scope or red dot on it.

Anyone know if the cmmg 22 mags are compatible with spikes uppers? Also, any suggestions for gizmos to attach to this girl?:D

I'm mostly shooting paper. so I guess glass it is. I dont expect ranges in excess of 50 yards though. At least until I get my 556 upper..

Sights?

Well, we all have a different preference, but since you asked here's mine:

1) peeps

Something about shooting an AR or M1A / M14 with peep sights, it is quite satisfying to be on-target @100++ yds with no optical "assistance" :D

2) dot sight

I have a Vortex SPARC mounted on my PS90, I don't think I'd replace it with anything, the sight just works on this rifle.

3) scope

Check out the 1 to 4 x 24 variety from Leupold, Leatherwood, and Nikon.

Try all 3 (peep, dot, scope) before you buy.
