My K-22 Pics

The gun is on lay-a-way, but I managed to get some pics. Forgive the blasphemous grips and poor quality of photos.
I originally figured it at around 85%, but once I got it into the sun I could see the holster wear on the muzzle and exposed areas of the cylinder seemed to be a little more pronounced. Just honest wear.

As a matter of fact I did! :) My 4" 28 also had the damn things. I'm starting to collect a drawer full of the foul things. Don't worry though, The little 22 will be waring proper "diamond" magna's soon enough.
I gave $270.00 out the door.

You did good. That thing has real character and all the side plate screws to boot.

Here's what it would look like with target grips but magna will do equally as well.

Magna, 'service' diamond grips

The proper grips for this K22 would be the diamond service style as Targets weren't available when it was produced. They can be had for 25-30 on eBay very often. Nice piece ! dewey

Very nice. I would have snapped it up at that price. I sort of own one of those of that same vintage. My dad gave it to me, but I have never brought it home. It is in a safe deposit box at the bank. I have shot it many times and leave it there to shoot when I am visiting them along with a High Standard Dura Matic. I would love to own another one, preferably with a little wear; one that I would actually carry in the field. Just for the heck of it, I asked my favorite local dealer what a new one would cost. He said, I believe, $475. The other dealer in town has one in worse shape than yours for $500. That one should be there for awhile, probably forever.

$500!!!!

For one?
I got 2 K22's mid to late 60's vintage 1 6 inch , and 1 ,8 3/8 inch
also a 3 1/2 inch mod 51, and a k38 4 inch for just under 600. All in mint condition with original grips.
