My impressions after firing Colt Detective..

..finally fired my Detective Special...found the weight of the gun made shooting realitively easy...recoil wasn't uncomfortable...am glad that I chose the Det over Cobra...I think I may not have liked the increased recoil with the gun's small grips...I think I have found an ideal personal protection gun...now I just need to practice regularly..

Nice, I have one exactly like it from 1961. I have some larger rubber grips that I sometimes stick on mine for target.
