My handloads over the last 7 months, looking for trends

Starting in Oct 2014 and ending March 2015 my handloads have been getting shorter.
An alarmist might point out that if this trend continues, within 2 months, the cartridges will be 0" OAL, and I will not be handloading.
An optimist might point out that there is a control loop inside me that will compensate, like a person riding a bicycle keeps it from falling over.

Global warming, it's like putting a sweater in the dryer.

Seriously, how do the coated bullets shoot? I am thinking of trying them.

How did you know I was thinking about feedback limiting global warming?

The guys who know a lot about coating are coating their own.
I am just buying coated bullets from Missouri Bullets.
I really like them. I can't get them to foul the barrel, as hot as I can push revolvers or semi handguns.

.

Nothing wrong with the tendency to the .32 S&W long. I just stared loading this round too, with 100gn plated FN and 2.0gn Bullseye.

Love that round: very accurate, cheap to load (3500 rounds out of a pound), quiet, low recoil. A better and reloadable .22 LR so to speak.

In my .308 rifle, Molly coated bullets picked up about 150 FPS.
Totally screwed up my ballistic card for the rifle/round I had been using out to 600 yards...

Amazingly LITTLE barrel wear if you use them from scratch in a new barrel, some guys are getting about twice the number of rounds through the barrel before they have to rebarrel.

Don't know if the 'Plastic' or whatever rounds are doing the same, but Molly is the girl!

My 44-40 OAL is on such an upswing, it might not feed from the 1873 Win.
Feeding single shot for now.

Let me know when you've worked you way down to .22LR and .22Short and I'll send you some brass for loading. We'll work out a deal, provided all the delivery trucks are not shut down due to carbon emission regulations...

MAn I really dig my 6.5-06, its twisted 1-8" so I get super results with 140's. Still have to test out to 500 yds, but seems promising.

My 2015 rifle build is another turk mauser, that I picked up cheap. Its going back to IT&D, and be barreled in 6.5 Creedmore.
Man I love that 6.5!!
Good luck with your build man.
