A friend of mine has a 1968 example. 4in is a nice length for those. Looks like a nice one. Is the timing ok? You should not be able to move the cylinder out of alignment when the hammer is back (for each chamber) or when the trigger is held back (for each chamber)? I had to send the one I had back to Colt for timing problems.

Nice looking Python, especially for that price. It's just in the right condition to enjoy -- a bit of wear so you don't feel guilty shooting it, but still looking very nice.
