Hello, just wanted to say hi and that this seams to be a great sight, I have been checking it out for a week or so.

Now for some good news, I just bought a new HK USP .45, well I hope it is good news, I havent fired one just heard lots of good things about it. I like the way it sits in my hand even though my hands are about small to medium in size. for the bad news, I have to wait 10 days to get it. Any of you HK guy's have any tips?

Thanks, Bob

you'll love it..... spend your waiting period buying lots and lots of ammo.... and have lots of fun with it on a regular basis.

quadrunner,

Welcome to TFL, and congratulations on your HK! I'm sure you'll love it, and it should run great right out of the box.

Even so, it won't hurt to wear yourself out running through the manual of arms a big bunch of times before heading for the range. If you're nervous about hurting it by dry firing, pick up a snap cap pack (AZoom, preferably) when you pick up the gun. By dry firing you can get used to the trigger, etc., without developing the bad habit of jerking or slapping it.

Give us a range and satisfaction report after you've been shooting! :)

Welcome to TFL.

Hope you enjoy your H&K as much as I enjoy mine. They are great guns. Lube it up the first time you shoot it. I'd be surprised if you had problems.

A lot of people complain about the H&K trigger. I shoot very well with it. It does take some getting used to. Blackhawk gave some good suggestions on dry firing.

Good luck and enjoy. . .
