I think you will be very unhappy with it so why dont you save yourself that trouble and just give it to me? :)
seriously though...beautiful gun!

Nice!

Looks just like my 4" 686 (no dash). Actually, yours is prettier, mine has some blackening on the cylinder face that I just haven't taken the time to scrub off. Too much hassle, and I'd just end up dirtying it up in another couple of days anyway :D .

Bullrock:

1)I think maybe that heavy underlug is going to make me shoot too low(HA! HA! HA!)!
2)Thanks, for your nice compliment! :p (BTW, you have been doing pretty good yourself, lately(What with that beautiful new(Blued)Special Edition, Model 586-7!))! How do you like it?

panzer426:

1)No, I think that I'll keep my 686-3(For now!)but, you never know, I could put it up for sale, one day?
2)Thanks for your(Well received!)compliment! :D

gb in ga:

1)Try a "Lead Away" cloth on that blackened part of the cylinder on your 686-as it will easily remove that stuff better than anything else! Works great!
2)Thanks for your nice compliment, also! :D

and i thought I was the only one to feel that way. when i was shooting in oklahoma i was running about 100-150 rounds a night thru my King Cobra, 3-4 times a week. man did i burn alot of ammo...

that didnt include the AR

1)My-my-my, indeed! You have a "Beautiful" 686-5 there! :)

2)What kind of wood are those Hogue stocks made out of(I really like the color(And graining!)in the wood? :D

Congrats boa! Very nice find! Those L-Frames are real tackdrivers...You can shoot the heck outta them all day long!!CAUTION! 686's are addictive(I know...I now have 2 686's and a 586.) So take it to the range and give it a good workout! Enjoy....Norm.

boa2,

The color is called, PAU FERRO. Finger grooved with no accent stripe. The color/grain is enhanced with a coat of Johnson's paste wax.

I recall posting a comment that, "firing a 686 was better than sex". What I really meant that it was my Viagra substitute....BTW, it's time for the monthly chore, so I'm off to the range..... :D

Bullrock:

You have a top notch 686 there! Short on barrel length-but, long on good looks! Congratulations! See, I told you that I was going to have to run, to keep up with you! I'm going to have to find another nice gun to post some pictures of-so I can file another notch on it's grips(To indicate that I had made another "Score"(Before Bullrock beat me to the punch!)!
