My first AR...Woo Hoo!

FINALLY got my hands on an AR 15. I've been hoping for a deal to come my way for some time, here it is: DPMS flat top w/ flip up rear and front sights, magpul trigger guard, quad rail system, collapsable stock, 2 mags, hard case, 16" barrel, seller claimed only 20 rounds had been fired, like new cond. $750 total
how did I do? (I know pics suck) price OK? I shot it some today (20 rds) everything was great, accurate, low recoil, and FUN. :D

now, I'll decide on optics and such. Uses for gun: Fun toy, range, and varmint gun. I am not gonna shoot past 200 yds more likely less than 100 for the most part, so I'm not looking for a nice/expensive optics set up. just an economy friendly, fun, easy to use set up.

....I still have my AK though :)

Nice rifle, not a bad price. If you want a relatively cheap scope, get a Nikon Prostaff I bought mine for my AR on sale for $120. Its a 3-9x40 with the regular duplex reticle. I love it, I use my AR as a truck gun and it has yet to let me down.
 
Congrats on the purchase. Price seems to be reasonable.

However, you do have one major problem....ummmm...this is you first ar...good thing you didn't say only!! These things are crazy addictive!!! :D
