My First .22 Wheelgun

I'm pushing 70 years, and I bought my first ever.22 calibre wheelgun. I'm picking it up at my dealers tomorrow for $50.00. :cool:

I don't know what make, or model it is yet, and I don't intend to shoot it. What I plan to do is pick up some smithy knowledge that many of you have. I plan on taking it apart, trying all kinds of stuff with spring replacements, etc...And, Hopefully put it back together again. :eek: Then maybe I'll hire someone else to shoot it for me... :eek: ;)

I just couldn't bear the thought or murdering one of my babies, so I'm gonna do it to a complete stranger. ;) I have a smithy manual, and video on the way...

Contrary to some of my posts, I just knew I'd find use for a .22, some day... :D
 
Just hope you didn't buy one of the many inexpensive odd balls that have been made over the years where finding any documentation about them will have you pulling your hair out.
 
Thanks Majic, My dealer knows what I want it for. I haven't paid for it yet, so when I pick it up tomorrow, I'll be sure it's mainstream...I hope to have some fun with this and drive all you guys crazy ... :)
