Quite a few months back I purchased a Taurus M85UL for my 46 year old daughter who is a cancer survivor currently struggling with MS.
Finally, Today, she had a chance to shoot her first gun ever. She had passed a course for her CCP last spring. The course consisted of no live shooting. So today, after some range instruction from the old man, I stood and watched as she cocked the hammer and squeezed the trigger for the first time in her life. The expression on her face was priceless!
She put 100 rounds through that little gun, and she was quite good for a first timer with 3 bulls at 15 feet and many hits in the black. Later, she even did a couple of cylinders of DA rapid fire... After, she came home with me and I taught her how to clean her gun.
One of the better days this year for this old fart!!!
