Got my CZ-70 at the gunshow at Hugo's in Bealton, Virginia, today.
Haven't fired it yet, but that's coming.
Some thoughts.
Came from Century Arms with a cleaning brush, 2 magazines, and one of their ridiculous red plastic trigger locks.
Finish is what you would expect, rather crude and unpolished. What I didn't expect was a fine patina of rust covering the matte finished areas of the slide. The slide sides are polished blue, they were fine. The top and upper sides of the slide, which are finished in a matte blue, wasn't. I'm going to have to do some rust killing.
The gun fits the hand rather nicely for something of this nature. It's a bit thin for my hand, but a set of aftermarket grips may well take care of that.
Double action trigger pull....
Uhm... Anyone got an 800-pound gorilla I can borrow?
Stiff and hard isn't the word. Wow. Must go well over 20 pounds. After I get the book I'll see about taking it apart and polishing and lubricating to see if I can get it a little more workable.
Single action is not terrible. I've used American-made autos with much worse single action triggers. Probably about 6-8 pounds with some creep.
Safety/decocker. Very stiff. Decocking is VERY difficult.
Sights. Well... Why did they even bother? Tiny front half-moon with an even tinier rear notch. I'll be working on it with a file, I suspect.
All told, $130 from the dealer with shipping and transfer fee.
Not too terrible for a little Walther PP clone in .32 that I'm looking to have fun with, and not much else.
