My Custom S&W 686 came this week

Took a little over two months but it came out great. 7 shot 686 4 inch barrel. Sent it in and had the 4 inch changed to a 2 3/4 barrel. Haven't fired it yet but soon. What do you think?

Did Smith and Wesson do the barrel changeover? How much did you have to pay?

Yep S&W did the job it was about $250 if I remember right. though I sold the 4 inch barrel on Ebay getting $60 for it

Nice, I have an older 2 1/2" . I've always been a fan of medium/large frame revolvers with short barrels. First one I ever had was a 2 3/4" Speed Six Ruger, sweet gun.

I have a 2.5" 686-6 plus and I think it's a great carry revolver, and an overall excellent gun.

Looks just like my 7 shot 686. I love mine, great & accurate shooter.

Now just add some wood boot grips from the likes of Eagle or Ahrends and a set of Cylinder and Slide Shop Extreme Duty Sights (they replace the adjustable ones,)

Then you have one heck of a CCW gun!
