One of my uncles contacted me recently to say, among other things I'll not repeat, that he's always voted Demoncrat, but that this year he'll be voting for Bush. Why? Because for no other reason than Gore's stance on guns. Not that I'm a Bush fan (I early-voted for Browne), but if a life-long Demoncrat is going to cross over, and I'm sure my uncle's not alone here, I believe that's a sign Gore is going to get his clock cleaned come Nov. 7.

P.S. My uncle actually sounded rational on this subject, but overall, and for reasons I don't want to divulge here, he's as loony as they come. I just hope he actually makes it to the polling booth.
