My CCW has the worst photo of myself EVER!

I look like I should be on the FBI 10 most wanted! The picture is dark and hazy and my face just dont look right! Anybody else not satisfied with theirs?

I'd be happy if we could just get CCW even if I looked like Jack the Ripper on the photo. :(

When I got mine taken, the class instructor told us that if we had to shoot someone, this would be the picture they would have of us in the Houston Chronicle. Everybody in the class (most of us middle aged white males, 45-55) put their "war face", on except for me. I am wearing the goofiest, most harmless looking grin I could possibly muster up.

And to stay on topic, the worst CCW pic is better than what probably 99% of people in PRK have - nothing :(
 
Hey, don't forget next month to wish Hank a happy birtday. :D

For those of you who can't get CCW in your home states, that really sucks. Gunslinger, I hope that with a new Governor you guys get the chance. I grew up in California, the only way I think that you will get shall issue CCW there is to have the L.A. basin fall into the ocean.

What kind of, paperz pleaze, commie state you live in?

My and my families(Father, Stepmother, Mother and Stepfather) permits are but simple flimsy bits of paper.($60 and fingerprints for 5 years...still an infringment but...) No picture nor lamination needed.(Washington State..i.e. God's Country...they call it that for a reason) :)

ckurts: I like the Idea of a harmless(i.e. goofy..Trust me I got goofy down pat) look if I ever do need a pic on mine.(You should see my DL)

I sure hope we get that CCW reciprocity passed when GWB is prez.

This may or may not make anyone feel any better, but when my wife saw the photo on my concealed handgun license, she broke out in howls of laughter. Until then, I didn't realize just how bad it was. :rolleyes:

I wear a short beard. In my first carry license picture (taken 3 years ago) it had only a stripe of gray. The new picture has me with a completely gray beard. I kind of like it.

And I thought I was the only one!
I have this curse on me that makes all my photos,DL, CCW ,Passport and State ID look bad. To complicate things, each photo is so different from the other that you will have to look twice to make sure its me in all of them.

We have no photos on our extremely rare CCWs here in Kalif. On the other hand, the worst photo of me ever taken was in the newspaper today:

I too live in the Peoples Republic of California where mostly socialist politicians (Don Perata) get issued CCWs.

These days, we feel thrilled just to be allowed to own ANY, gun exposed or concealed.

Being allowed to own an AW without harrassment would feeel great. But alas, only socialist politicians (Don Perata who wrote SB23, owns an AR15)...get to own AW after Dec 31st without fear.

They could put a photo of a werewolf on mine. I wouldnt care. Just so long as I get one :)
