My cat loves to hunt and always brings his kills to me to show off.

Here is a snapshot that I look of him recently:

LOL. thats a good one Lance. I was thinking, "I know he didnt post a regular, normal picture of a pet cat with a rodent." I mean that would've been fine, but not unique.

My grandma's aunt and uncle in Michigan had a feral female barn cat that would go out in the pasture and catch full sized rabbits. I saw her dragging a rabbit between it's legs and asked how the cat got a rabbit and they said she goes out and catches them to feed her kittens. I was pretty amazed.

You really gotta love those little critters..there something else. I have 2 of them and they are full of entertainment ..sometimes at a high price with the furniture being used as gym equiptment. :)

5 cats, I know....I know...but I love each and every one of thier needle clawed little furfaces.

That's a great pic, sir! I have to post one on mine, hope nobody minds.

We had a tom cat that did the same thing. Every once in a while we'd open the door to find that he had left a rabbit with its throat chewed out as a present.

One time it brought in a live baby bunny to amuse us. The dog got a hold of it and ran around the house in joy.
After we got the bunny away from the dog, it was still alive. Soft mouthed bird dog. We put it outside and after a while it hopped away.

Although come to think of it, it was our parents who told us it had "hopped" away.

Im am an all around animal person, but ive always been more partial to dogs than cats.

Ever heard of/seen a Savannah? Absolutely amazing. They are (three different levels) of domestic and wild cat. Truly amazing to interact with. The more "wilder," the more expensive (tens of thousands).

There is a local high end cat store in my city with a handful of these in a glass enclosed indoor mini jungle of coolness.

Google and read up….you'll forgo your next gun and a few christmas' for one of these exotics.

I get the occasional mole out on the sidewalk in the mornings, I'm sure the cats are proud. My cats also are squirrel hunters---although I have no idea how they get one, the fur and tails are occasionally found in my yard.
Just how in the devil I find the rare blue-jay carcass out in the yard, is beyond me. I reckon the cats get tired of being dive-bombed by them, and plot a little revenge.....

I have had cats that were serious hunters, including one formerly feral cat that did it for a living for many years. My current lap lump catches something once in a while, but anything that's slow / stupid enough for him to catch deserves to be taken out of the gene pool. I figure he's doing the species as a whole a favor.

The formerly feral cat liked to show off her skill and would catch things and present them to us for our approval. She had a special presentation meow, very proud, that would announce that she has something for our inspection.

My current cat gives that meow when presenting a conquered paper ball that I had given him 5 minutes ago.
