Tonight at 8:00 I will be graduating from Mountian View High School in Mesa AZ. My past two years at Mountain View (11th and 12th) have been great compared to the misery of the first ten. The first 10 were so horrible because I was stuck in the liberal hell hole that was the West Bloomfield school district in Michigan. The teachers and students at Mountain View have been much more tolerant of me and my political views than those of my previous schools. I can't say that I will miss the public education system, but I must recognize that it helped shape me into the person I am today from my negative reaction to it. On the positive side I will be graduating with a 3.0 cummulative GPA, though I maintained a 3.8-4.0 the last two years (I goofed off the first two years of high school). I will beging attending community college this summer and I plan to go on to a 4 year university.

What I'm really excited about is that June 3rd I turn 18 and I can buy my own firearms and ammunition!!! :)

Congratualations, I send my best wishes out to you, I'm so glad to see there is still some young men and young women that wants to complete HS, I think these days and ages I think it is very important. :)

Congratualations on the end of your sentence, er, I mean graduation, and Vielen Glueckwunsch zum Geburtstag.

If you're as dissatisfied with the education you got in PS as I was with mine, I would encourage you to homeschool your children (assuming you're planning on having any :)).

You're going to have a blast in college. Just don't go hog wild on any of those drinking parties. Remember, if you're drunk, you don't get any girls.

Congradulations Russell. Pick a major that you're interested in (Criminal Justice sounds good) so that you'll attend class EVERY DAY. That's the most important part.

Thanks everybody. Right now I'm considering going to Pharmacy school to get a Pharm-D. Don't worry I'm not the partying type, my idea of fun is either going shooting or staying at home and surfing the net.

DeathWish, mine was at the Mountain View football field. Never heard of Moon Valley before where's it at?
 
Good luck, Russell. Your education is just beginning. Now you are educating yourself on your time. Make the most of it. You will find you are your best teacher if you let yourself be.
