My C93 purchase

So recently I bought a c93 rifle built by Century Arms, HK33 clone yada yada... I took it to the range with a buddy today and a couple different kinds of ammo and needless to say, I'm quite pleased with the rifle.

I did my research before buying and brought a set of feeler gauges with me. I also broke it down in the store to inspect the bolt head and carrier, put the funniest look on the woman behind the counter's face. When all appeared to be well and good I bought it for $410 brand new!

Anyways, today I brought Federal M855 Ball 62 grain, Winchester 5.56 55 grain, Tula 55 grain, and Remington .223 55 grain. It fed and ejected all, the ammo I had three failures to eject was the Federal and it happened while fast cycling the action and I'm not entirely sure the rifle was properly braced against my shoulder when it happened. I think it may have slipped down or up during so, since while bench shooting it never failed. Put about 300 or so rounds through it and bolt gap never changed. And I was breaking clay pigeons at 100 yards using the irons with it.

Needless to say I'm impressed, I know they have a less than great rep but I enjoy my rifle to say the least. Just wondering if anyone else has one because I was having issues using my red dot on it, probably the sight itself but it's on a low profile mount and I can't seem to adjust it low enough to shoot with it.

Just returned from the range after trying out my new C93. I only brought 40 rounds of M193, but all fed flawlessly. I mainly wanted to check to make sure there were no feed issues so I didn't take the time to zero. At 50 yds, the POI seemed to be about 10 inches high and a few inches right. My only complaint so far is that it chews up the brass pretty bad. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

Yeah I noticed mine chewed the brass up pretty well also. And after I ripped my red dot sight off it and shot the irons at 50 yards my POI was actually about...5-6 inches left but right inline horizontally with the bulls-eye.
