My Baby...

Is there anybody else who owns a Baby Desert Eagle? Mine is a 9mm and is my favorite semi-automatic. This one was made in Israel and I bought it used at our local gun shop. The sight were slightly off, but Kahr, which handles these guns, told me that the will test and adjust my gun, free of charge.

At this point I'd like to pay Kahr a compliment: They not only sent me a pre-paid FedEx label, they even replaced the slide, instead of just adjusting the sights, then retested the gun and sent it back via FedEx within a few days. Wow!

The Baby Desert Eagles are fine guns. Based on the Tanfoglio version of the CZ Pattern, some consider them a better physiological fit than the CZ.

I'm impressed that Kahr will do that for a gun you bought used AND pay for shipping. (Some will pay for parts and labor, but most won't pay for shipping on a used gun.)

I have to agree with both of you -- very impressed at that customer service experience. And you starting discussion and sharing that experience is a fine way to say "thank you" to Kahr for their role.

Bad experiences spread like a wildfire but good reputations are built on relaying actual first-hand accounts of good experiences. Seems to me that both parties have done a good job here. :)
