My AR build progress

Alrighty folks, since y'all convinced me to get an AR, I've started my build! To think, this all started with giving away a savage bolt action .22LR I'd had for 11 years.
So far I've gotten a rainier milled upper, spikes tactical pirate lower, PWS enhanced buffer, a LMT BCG, and a magpul CTR stock.
I'm heavily leaning towards a superior barrel dexa. But might get the terebratus instead. The dexa is a 16.1" with a mid gas system weighing 31. Some odd oz, the terebratus is 18" with a rifle gas system weighing 40.8 oz. both have the "hard blue" treatment and are 1:7. I'm also planning on getting a Giessele 3 gun trigger, PWS FSC, and I haven't decided on the front handguards. I want free floated, something like the V-RS, as long as I can get to fit so I can mount the front sight way out there. With diamondhead premium combat sights.

I don't really plan on shooting in 3 gun, but thats the closest thing I could find in comparison to how I want to be able to shoot my rifle. If I happen to find a 3 gun comp close by, I might go try it out.

Well thats the basic build idea anyway. Any questions, comments, and tips are welcome.

If you plan on just being a range shooter or want to do a 3 gun, I dont see any real reason to get the 16" over the 18 rifle system. It will have higher velocity and less recoil, and the gas entering the reciever will be cooler. Mostly preference however.
