Muzzle Control of Ruger P95 or any Polimer Guns?

I am totally iching to hit the range with my new gun. I am confusingly reading allot of internet threads thouggh that detail allot of high jumping of the muzzle of the P95.

Grant it that even when shooting the g19, it seems to tip up when fired but I thought that was the reaction of the recoyal being so strong, I mean my .22 doesn't do that and for the most part my .38 doesn't either.

Is it because the bottom half of the P95 and the g19 are plastic? is there less recoyal in a all steel gun? If I can control and shoot a G19 how will I do on a full size P95?

Will I be able to handle the kick more because the P95 is a full pistol and the G19 wasn't?

With any pistol or revolver, be it a .22 RF or .44 Mag, one should always maintain a firm, consistent grip.

My P95 was controllable and quite accurate if I.....see above.

I think the P95 is one of the softest recoiling 9mm that I've shot. I have the new XD(M) and it isn't even as soft as the P95 using the exact same reloads.

My wife is very sensitive to recoil due to a medical condition. She finds the Ruger P95 very easy on her hands. She says it's the lightest recoiling pistols of the 9mm pistols she's tried.

I haven't tried to quantify the muzzle flip of the P95, primarily because it seems to come back on target very naturally for me. That is, regardless of how much muzzle flip there may be the gun seems to come back down on target with very little effort on my part.
