I have a Weatherby Vanguard s2 in a 300 winchester magnum, I love the gun it holds up to the sub moa standard, my only problem with it is the fact it kicks like a mule  I've been:co thinking of getting a muzzle break. I hear that there aren't any good clamp on os and I have no idea how to install one, is there a manual I can get to instruct me on how to not screw up my barrel?

Grizzly Gunworks (.com) will build a clamp on break that's built to the measurements (taper) of your barrel.
I've never seen one in action myself so I can't speak to how well it works out.
But it looks like the cost of one can be equal to the parts and labor cost of getting a gunsmith installed (screw on) break.
It would depend on which muzzle break you want and how much your gunsmith charges.
I think there's a European company that makes a clamp on...Roedale I think.

Properly fitted muzzle breaks that attach to the barrel (not clamp on) cost about $200. When done right they look great and function well. Ive been pondering one for my Win M70 7mm Rem Mag.
