Sirs:
Can you believe it - my grandson talked me in to threading and fitting a large muzzle brake on his stainless Sendero!
It was 5/8X28 thd. and it made the O.D. of the brake even with bbl. O.D.
We cut bbl. so you just barely had to put minimum pressure to screw it on right - I loc-tited it on with the red stuff also.
The boys fired it and said it made a tremendous difference - accuracy was unchanged, etc.
I informed them that even with muffs they were losing hearing in old age (I've developed "selective hearing" with the wife after 53 years!) You know how that is with kids - I lost most of my hearing with a Ruger 357 years ago myself before ear muff days - (we thought that was chicken).
I'm still aginst them, but you know how this works - kiddies go to momma - momma comes to daddy and daddy, if he doesn't want to live in misery does what momma wants! Yea! I know what you're thinking.
Harry B.
