YOU WANTED IT, AND HERE IT IS
Heard this from a gun owner before? "We have all the facts,
the Constitution, and all the statistics on our side but the
public never hears them! If only the NRA would stop
preaching to the choir and get a pro-gun message out to the
public, the political debate would change."
We heard it -- and said it -- too. So a group of dedicated
activists founded Citizens Of America for this very purpose.

COA created strong, emotional, and factual radio and print
ads that hit the gut and tell the TRUTH about how gun control
endangers the public, especially women. About how

We think the ads are VERY effective. OTHERS AGREE: pro-
gun, pro-self-defense radio station managers run them for
free in many places. Volunteers across the country are
raising funds and running them locally. COA officers have
been interviewed dozens of times on talk shows about the

WHAT WE THOUGHT
Here's what COA founders thought: There are an estimated
80 million gun owners in America. If every one of them
contributed just $1 a year we'd have least $80 million to run
these ads across the country. In fact, if only one in a
HUNDRED gun owners contributed a single dollar a year, we
would have $800,000 to get the ads out.
But we've had to make do with less than a TENTH of that so
far. Why? Because most gun owners who donate to the pro-
Second Amendment cause send $35 to the NRA and figure
they're done for the year.
Consider this comparison: the executive vice president of the
NRA -- ALONE -- is paid more money IN FOUR MONTHS
than COA has raised -- and put to work, HARD -- in nearly a
year.
WHAT WE'VE DONE, WHAT WE CAN DO
In the ten months since we formed COA, this money has
been used to produce and run our ads in 42 states on over
300 radio stations, and tens of thousands of our print ads
have been distributed.
We don't waste it begging politicians to uphold the
Constitution, we don't give it to politicians who have voted
against our rights because they're the lesser of two definite
evils, and we don't waste it sending out hundreds of tons of
fundraising mail which asks for more money to send out a
hundred more tons of fundraising mail.
