WHO ARE THESE GORE VOTERS ANYWAY?

On the Thursday following the election I posted a map of the United States which showed every county won by Gore and each one Bush carried. If you forget what that map looked like, here’s your link. [http://www.boortz.com/themap.htm ]

That map included a few interesting statistics; among them:

Counties won by Gore: 677
Counties won by Bush: 2,434

Population of counties won by Gore: 127 million
Population of counties won by Bush: 143 million

Square miles of country won by Gore: 580,000
Square miles of country won by Bush: 2,427,000

States won by Gore: 19
States won by Bush: 29

Now Professor Joseph Olson of the Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota has produced another interesting new statistic. Professor Olson looked up the crime statistics for all of these counties and came up with this:

Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Gore: 13.2
Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Bush: 2.1

Makes ya wanna live in an all-Gore USofA, don nit?

And those Gore Counties are so culturally superior, don't you know.

Funny you should mention this!

When I first saw that county by county election results map, one of the first things I thought of was:

Gee, what do you think would happen if we were to overlay the election map with, oh, let's say Welfare Dollars?

While we're at it, what would happen if we were to overlay the election map with, oh, let's say crime statistics?

Coincidence?

Look back in the TFL Archives for the original map posts and read my comments for yourself. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to put it all together! Thank you Professor Olson!

Conclusion.... liberals are 6 times more violent than conservatives.... No wonder they want to get rid of guns... they scare themselves.

I'm sure there is a perfect correlation with "severity of gun control laws", too.

When are the Liberals going to learn that more gun control = HIGHER crime rates?
