The desk clerk was murdered around 7:15 during a suspected robbery. Two guests found him and tried to help but he died en route to the hospital.
I was in the hotel lobby talking to the guy who was killed about an hour before it happened. I was there because the Hampton Inn had cookies. I was staying at the Fairfield across the parking lot, no cookies.
Nice 29 year old young man whose life was stolen from him and his family by two dirt bags. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene and driving off in a white sedan.
