After some observation, I'm giving mostly a *thumbs down* to Mueller scopes. The little red dot feature is neat (the IGR), but they are quite poor in the areas of eye relief (short), finish (paint chips off easily), and durability (a single mounting screwed one up somehow - this could be my fault, but it doesn't happen with other brands). So, just wanted to mention. They have a good buzz, and so I have bought two of them, but they're definitely not all they are cracked up to be.
Edit: I'll say that it's not the eye relief itself that is poor; but rather it's the quick blackout moving left to right - a small window of clarity, if you will. And they do have some nice features for the money besides the sport dot, like the clear optics, target knobs, nice reticle (they call it a German #4 - it is NOT that, but it is a good reticle for hunting and precision both). Anyway, they are not *terrible* values by any means, just not that great overall.
