MSU Uniforms For Michigan Rivalry Game Feature "MOLON LABE"

I hope this isn't too far off base, but I thought it was cool that the Spartans are going to have one of our favorite mottos on their uniforms for this sweet rivalry game:

"The uniform, which includes a bronze helmet and black pants, has inscribed in back of the collar the words "Molon Labe," which means "come and take them" in Greek, a classic and defiant expression connected to King Leonidas of Sparta, according to msuspartans.com."

That's some really GREAT news!
And that was a very cool promo spot for The Spartans!
I guess that means ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ has gone mainstream?

I've been doing my part... My blog features some of 'The Spartan Way'.
I used Photoshop and created a helmet and overlaid the slogan and 'tuned' it some...
I use it as an avatar on several forums and it makes a very nice shirt design.

MSU is a big "Ag" school and as such there are a LOT of pro-2a patriots in that neck of our woods. I got a lot of family up in that area (even though I'm in Wolverine country) and we do a lot of shooting up there. I bet most every Spartan will be proud to pound the turf carrying the "MOLON LABE" flag!

Of course we know how gun friendly the faculty can be with all of their conservative views and all. I bet NRA memberships go up this year.
