Sir, I have a Winchester model 70 Stealth in 308.
I was wondering, can I replace the slotted screws on the trigger guard with the same type that is on
my Remington PSS that allows for tightening to 65
inch lbs? Thanks
 
I'm not George, but I'll jump in. Brownells sells sets of guard screws for the Model 70 in a socket head configuration. They tighten with a 5/32 Allen wrench, and you can really lean on them if you are so inclined. Stock number is 122-505-670. www.brownells.com
 
Ursus, you can get that with regular slotted screws but socket head screws are available for the Model 70. You can get them from me or Brownells. www.brownells.com. I don't charge as much to ship and they are also available from B-Square. George
