MPro 7 on Hogue cocobolo grip?

I just bought a 32 oz. bottle of MPro 7 gun cleaner, which has this in the directions for use: "Note: Test before use because MPro7 can safely and instantly remove unprotected oil-based wood finishes, water-based paint/finishes and some 'cold bluing'". I want to have Hogue cocobolo grips put on a Weigand Special SP101 (copycatting RiddleofSteel). Question: Do these directions indicate any risk of MPro7 damaging Hogue cocobolo grips? I don't know what the grips are made of, and I haven't been able to get a response yet from Hogue.

Hogue's refinishing kit for their grips contains carnauba wax and buffing compound. Hope this helps. I know zip about MPro7.
