Has anyone else had problems with extraction of spent cartridges from MPB's "Quik Shok" fragmenting rounds? I bought several boxes of various ammo last night to shoot through my S&W 617...all of them being brands and/or types that I had not tried yet . The emptys from all of the others that I shot extracted smoothly just as they should; the Quik Shoks, however, loaded INTO the cylinder with ease, but after firing them I found that I COULD NOT get them out using the extractor. Since I didn't have anything else to use, my shooting session promptly ended as I did not want to BEAT on the extractor pin and risk tearing something up trying to get those little terds out of there.
When I got home I used the extractor pin out of my other .22 to force the empty's out (they were very tight) and then cleaned all the cylinder bores out thoroughly thinking the empty's might have just stuck because they were the last rounds I shot that day and maybe there was just ecsessive build up in the cylinder. Hoping that would solve the problem I went BACK to the range today to give them another shot, this time they were the FIRST that I shot. I fired twice and then decided to check and make sure they would release properly and to my dismay they would not.
Is there anyone else who has experienced this problem with these? Are they just cheaply made or what?
