Have any of you guys heard or have expirience with it in the civilian world? If you guys have seen any in your LGS what are they going?

US citizens have not been able to register foreign made automatic weapons since the late summer or early fall of 1968. The registry closed on American conversions of foreign made semi-automatic weapons on May 19, 1986. Of course that is the same date that the registry closed for all automatic weapons for all non-SOTs.

I would be surprised if any companies aside from HK own any of these weapons. Individuals cannot own this weapon. It can only be owned by a business through an SOT.

Thanks Gents for the NFA gouge!

Hear anything about a semi-only civilian version? It would probably be an SBR?

Thanks again for the info as youguys are usually much better informed than I!

Usually, for firearms like that, it's easier to lose the foregrip and stock and sell it as a pistol.

The caliber is also iffy.

I thought that it was entirely unavailable, but apparently Fiocci produces some. I can't imagine why, as I'm not aware of any civilian firearms in this caliber. It can't be a big seller, so I wouldn't think it would be available for long.

It's really only effective as a burst fired weapon where a very well trained finger is putting 3 to 5 shots into a small area on the body.

Major Malfunctions out of Edmond Ok has one. However he is SOT so thus able to purchase one for demo purposes. He had it at a gun show in Oklahoma City several years ago. Very cool, I like PDW setups.
