Movie: Demolition Man

Watching the movie Demolition Man on TeeVee. Thinking about it in terms of what the anti-gun liberal sheeple want our society to be. "The only place you can even SEE a gun is in a museum..."

Scary.

Ah, yes... who can forget the "Hall of Violence"? Kinda weird to see some rifles that I own 'enshrined' behind thick plexiglass.

Of course, California is already heavy into the "_____ is bad for you, so it is not allowed."

"Not allowed" sounds only slightly better than "banned."

Personally, I think the movie is a pretty good satire that was slipped under the radar. It's the people who DON'T recognize it as such that cause me concern.

There's a similar thread to this running elsewhere -- but I can't find it :( (The Alzheimer's gets worse)

Still wanna know what the three shells were for???? I figure "one up, one down, and one to polish" -- but I could (just conceivably, mind you) be wrong! :D

Plus you get fined for language. Anything that's "deemed" not good for you is illegal. One person controls the entire society. geesh!

Yes I thought it was ironic how the polic couldn't apprehend W. Snipes without help.

It would have been a rather short movie, otherwise.
