I watched Art of War with Wesly Snipes this weekend, all it was was a story about how the Un was a great and wonderful peace keeping orginization. If everyone would just fall in line with their plans, everything would be perfect. But then this "evil" woman who is labeled as an American right wing extremeist doesn't want to go along with the plan and tries to screw everything up. It was so cheesy that they re-enacted the gunfight scene from Matrix, even down to seeing the bullet trails. This is not a movie that I think is worth the money to go see.

I concur. Saw it last night and enjoyed it as a fighting movie, but the storyline was so stretched. There was some good fighting if you could see it, but more often than not, the film/lighting/editing didn't work for you.

I did like that weapons-behind-the-mirror storage idea, but that's were it ended. I couldn't even get into the weaponry because it wasn't a featured part of the story.

And what kind of superman could hear that trouble on the third floor when standing outside, on the street, in NYC???!!!

Nope, I couldn't see it as reasonable and didn't like the implication that the UN is some kind of benevolent org trying to better the world.

When Reason Fails.....

Yes, the film is stupid and phony. One example: There is a reference to a ceramic pistol that "avoids detection at airports."
I am surprised the filmmakers are still trying to hand off that piece of BS. As for the idea that "aggressive peacekeeping" activities of the U.N. are a good thing, such projects violate its own charter. Yet, given what has happened in the former Yugoslavia in the last few years, no one seems to care about that objection. Bad Hollywood movies do not make it any more acceptable.
