Mountain Gun Sight Question

Influenced in part by Mr. John Taffin's excellent article on the 625-2 over on sixguns.com, I've added a .45 acp Mountain gun to my assortment. Excellent accuracy, function so far.

With 230 grain bullets it shoots a bit high, even with the rear sight all the way down.

Anyone know where I could get a higher front sight blade?

Yes you would need a higher front sight since you have have already bottomed out the rear sight. I had the same problem with a conversion done by Weigand Combat. Weigand supplied me with a .250, but they exchanged it for a .300, and that solved my problem. You could try www.brownells.com or the S&W factory to get a higher front sight. Sling Shot
