Mostly To Least Likely To Encounter

Looking at the recent gun violence episode overall, how would you arrange the below from the mostly likely to the least likely you might encounter? Secondly, have you sort training in that order as well. If you have, can you elaborate briefing on the training? This is my order below and I am guilty of not seeking training in this order. I want to know other's view.

[1]Active Shooter encounter in any public place i.e. work, restaurant etc.

[2]Attempted Robbery or Assault on the street

[3]Home Invasion

[4]In defense of others i.e. friends, relatives and non-acquaintances.

In spite of what the media would have you believe, I think an active shooter encounter in any public place i.e. work, restaurant, etc., is the least likely situation. I also think the order would be influenced by geography; Detroit or Chicago is likely going to have a different ranking than say Fort Worth or Birmingham.

Based on what I think the rankings would be in Central Arkansas I would rate them as follows:


1. Armed robbery of a business (conveniance store, liquor store, or pharmacy)

2. Attempted Robbery or Assault on the street

3. Home Invasion

4. In defense of others i.e. friends, relatives and non-acquaintances.

5, 6, 7,

8. Active Shooter encounter in any public place i.e. work, restaurant etc.

Not a General Discussion topic, more T and T. Also, on the side the Freud quote can't really be sourced and even if true isn't really about weapons per se but phobias in general.
